About GradeR
GradeR is a gradebook analytics application designed to work with gradebooks exported from the Canvas learning management system. The intent is to provide instructors with a tool that quickly generates statistical summaries and visualizations of gradebook data in order to better guide and evaluate their teaching.
Functions
Core functions of GradeR include:
- Class enrollment
- Statistical summaries for assessments
- Visual summaries for assessments
- Individual student performance
- Cross-term analysis for up to 3 gradebooks
- Final grade assignment
Data
GradeR works exclusively with gradebooks generated by the Canvas LMS. Specifically, it uses the .csv
exported gradebook from your course. Please watch our YouTube tutorial videos for instructions.
